Long Island Cranx Foundation (LICF) was founded to attach a higher purpose to “Epic Rides”. Riders and donors alike can attach deeper meaning in connecting to and supporting our families, friends, and community;  These are the most valuable things a person can have after all!

LI Cranx Foundation’s FIRST endeavor is to raise $50,000 for Independent Group Home Living.  The IGHL organization collaborates with New York State officials, community leaders and the families of those we serve, to develop and implement innovative programs, services and supports for people with intellectual disabilities so that they can realize their full potential, and become contributing members of their community. please learn more here https://www.ighl.org/

THE EPIC RIDE

“A DAY-LONG ROLLER-COASTER RIDE OF STRENGTH, EMOTION, FITNESS, AND FORTITUDE. EVERESTING IS THE MOST DIFFICULT CLIMBING CHALLENGE FOR CYCLISTS IN THE WORLD!”

The Concept of Everesting is fiendishly simple: Pick any hill, anywhere in the world and complete repeats of it in a single activity until you climb 29,032 Feet / 8,849 Meters – the equivalent height of Mt Everest.  We chose the infamous climb in The Catskills of NY called Devil’s Kitchen on July 10th, 2021.

THE CAUSE

Independent Group Home Living organization Inc. collaborates with New York State officials, community leaders and the families of those we serve, to develop and implement innovative programs, services and supports for people with intellectual disabilities so that they can realize their full potential, and become contributing members of their community.  In the last year, Independent Group Home Living (IGHL) programs that offer an array of clinical and occupational services were harshly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Cornell Cooperative Day Habilitation has faced closure, budget cuts, and staff reduction.
